Embed Calendly scheduling in a PDF

You can put your Calendly booking page on a page of your PDF with FeatPaper. Paste the scheduling link into the EMBED tab of the motion editor, and viewers pick a time and book right inside the document. It turns the last slide of a sales deck or proposal into a place to book the next meeting.

  • End a sales deck with a live “book a call” page.
  • Let a prospect schedule a follow-up from inside a proposal.
  • Add office hours to an onboarding document for new customers.
  • Put an interview booking page in a recruiting brochure.

Use your Calendly scheduling link, for the whole page or for a single event type:

https://calendly.com/alex-rivera
https://calendly.com/alex-rivera/30min
  1. In Calendly, copy the link to your booking page or to an event type.
  2. Any calendly.com link is used as-is.
  3. Make sure the event type is active, so people can see open times.

Calendly’s guides for sharing and embedding are linked under Official guides.

Open the Content tab

Open the document in FeatPaper and go to the Content tab. You need edit rights on the document to see the motion tools.

Open the motion editor

Click the Add video or link card. The full-screen motion editor opens.

Pick the page and the EMBED tab

Select the page in the left sidebar, then click the EMBED tab in the toolbar.

Paste the Calendly link

Paste the link into the Embed URL field and click Add. If you have Calendly’s inline embed code, you can paste it. FeatPaper uses the link in src="…".

Position and resize

Drag the frame to move it and drag the handles to resize it. Arrow keys nudge it (hold Shift for bigger steps).

Save

Click SAVE & EXIT.

  • Desktop: Calendly appears inside the page, right where you placed it. Viewers don’t leave the document.
  • Mobile: On a phone, the Calendly frame shows as a blurred card. When the viewer taps it, Calendly opens full screen in a bottom sheet.
  • Downloaded PDF: A PDF can’t run Calendly. FeatPaper replaces the frame with a thumbnail or the Calendly logo that links to the reading view at that page, and adds a QR code at the bottom right of the page. If you turned off the document’s QR setting, the QR code isn’t added.
  • Motion works on every plan, including Starter.
  • This embed doesn’t count toward the video and GIF limit, and there is no size limit. Only uploaded video files and GIF-tab images count.
  • Bookings land in your Calendly account and calendar as usual.
  • Calendly’s booking page needs room. Make the frame larger than the default half width so times and forms are easy to read.
  • FeatPaper doesn’t know whether a booking happened. Check bookings in Calendly.
  • After a version update, motions don’t carry over on their own. When you open the editor after an update, FeatPaper asks whether to copy the previous version’s motion content to the same pages and positions.
The editor says my link isn't supported. What is wrong?

The link isn’t in a format the EMBED tab accepts. Check it against the link shape in Get the link ready above. The editor checks only the link format, so a valid link to content that isn’t shared publicly can still show an error inside the frame.

How does it look on a phone?

The frame shows as a blurred card. Tapping it opens Calendly full screen in a bottom sheet.

What happens when someone downloads the PDF?

The frame becomes a thumbnail or logo that links back to that page in the reading view, and a QR code is added at the bottom right of the page (unless the document’s QR setting is off).

Does FeatPaper record who booked a meeting?

No. The booking happens inside Calendly, so check it there. FeatPaper still shows who opened the document and how long they read each page.

Can I link one event type instead of my whole page?

Yes. Paste the event type link, such as https://calendly.com/alex-rivera/30min.
