Teams whose deliverables are the product

In consulting, the document is both the deliverable and the asset. Once proposals and interim deliverables leave as files, you've lost control — and there's no record of who opened what, when. Block downloads and set an expiration and clients can review without a copy ever remaining. And when the open alert fires, you call before the reply would have come.

Scenarios

Consulting · Professional services: the situations teams keep hitting

How it's actually used in the field, with the features each moment calls for. What each plan includes is on the pricing page.

01

Keep deliverables from lingering as files

Block PDF downloads per link and the review happens without the original leaving. Set the expiration — 7 days, 1 month, or a custom date — and the link closes itself when the review window ends. Both settings are per link, so one client can get different rules.

02

Read the proposal response and call first

An email or Slack alert fires when the proposal opens. See which page they lingered on and reach out first instead of waiting for a reply — review cycles move differently.

03

Bundle project files into a data room

Hand over interim reports, analyses, and appendices as one public page. Each link keeps its own password, expiration, and download settings, and groups nest up to 5 levels inside the room.

04

Close instantly when you need to

Deal fell through, or the wrong file went out? Disable one link or every link on the document. It closes immediately regardless of expirations, it's reversible, and the reading record is preserved.

Workflow

Consulting · Professional services: how it works day to day

Organize the documents, split links per audience, watch the response, and close when it's done.

  1. 01 Upload the deliverables

Organize proposals and interim reports in your space, with folder roles for internal access.

  2. 02 Send with protection on

Issue review links with download blocking, expirations, and passwords set per link.

  3. 03 Time your outreach to the reading

When the alert fires, check the longest-read sections in Insights and explain from there.

  4. 04 Close out at project end

Disable the links and access is tidied up — the record stays, only the access closes.

FAQ

Consulting · Professional services: what teams ask most

Does download blocking also stop printing?

Download blocking stops PDF file saving. A file that was already downloaded can't be recalled, so it's safest to keep downloads off from the first send.

What happens when the expiration passes?

Opening the link shows an invalid-or-expired notice. Set a new period or issue a fresh link when needed.

Can access be split per client?

Issue a per-recipient link per client and put a password or email allow list on each. Link settings are never inherited — set them again on every new link.
